REGISTRATION
Parents/guardians are required to complete the student registration form on behalf of their child.
TUITION FEES
Tuition fees are payable on a monthly or a course basis. Monthly fees will reflect the number of classes
available each month. Pro-rata fees will be applicable to mid month/course enrolments.
Payment may be made in cash or by cheque.
Cheques should be made payable to: Main Goal Development Limited
Tuition fees are refundable only if Decoding Education Centre cancels the course. In any circumstances,
tuition fees are non-transferable.
Receipts will be issued for payments received.
ENFORCED CLOSURE
Classes will be cancelled when black rainstorm or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher warnings have been
hoisted by the Hong Kong Observatory two hours prior to the starting time of such a class. Classes will
resume 2 hours after the warnings have been lowered or removed provided there is sufficient time to
conduct and complete the class within the scheduled time.
Classes that are disrupted or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions will not be rescheduled and
tuition fees for such classes will not be refunded.
SCHEDULES/CHANGES
The Decoding Education Centre reserves the right to change the date, time, teacher allocation, and the
grouping of students in respect of any class.
Substitution of teachers will be made without prior notification.
ILLNESS
Students are permitted to request sick leave once per month. Lesson will be rescheduled only if formal
certification by doctors is provided.
Students who are ill, coughing, or having fever should wear masks or else will not be allowed to enter the
Decoding Education Centre.
ABSENCE
Leave / absence for personal reasons is allowed once per month only if a written note is received one
week before the lesson.
MULTI-MEDIA RECORDS
It is strictly prohibited to photograph, video, record etc., anywhere on the premises of Decoding
Education Centre including the reception area.
Students found recording, photographing, videoing etc, in the Decoding Education Centre will be expelled
and their tuition fees will be forfeited.
COPYRIGHT/INTEGRITY
Materials are limited to current students and are strictly prohibited from reproduction in any form.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by Hong Kong law and the courts of Hong Kong shall have non-
exclusive jurisdiction to determine any disputes arising or in connection with these terms and conditions.
DISCLAIMER
Students attending classes do so at their own risk. The Decoding Education Centre is not responsible or
liable for any loss, damage or injury to students participating in classes.
These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without Prior written notice.
I have received a copy of, read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions of enrolling in
classes at Decoding Education Centre.
