Students in the class are required to complete a reading and a writing task in each lesson. Topics cover daily life experience and creative writing. Teachers in the class will help students improve their writing skills through guiding them to review their experience, arousing their curiosity and giving them well-structured tasks which provide them with useful prompts, ideas, vocabulary, grammar knowledge and essential techniques for different types of writing.
To encourage students, our centre will organize writing competitions, and select students’ work to be submitted to newspaper for publication.
